diversity in recreational opportunities throughout the 4 seasons. |

Seymour
Lake Park is located north of the fairgrounds by
Wally’s Seymour Bowl. This park has a shelter building, grills, play
equipment, vollyball court and ball diamond. To reserve the lake shelter
building please call the city clerk’s office at (920) 833-2209.

Rock Ledge
Park on West High Street has two ball diamonds, horse
shoe pits, picnic facilities, play equipment and a pavilion with kitchen.
To rent the pavilion call the city clerk's office. Also located in the
park is the Scout Building. To rent the Scout Building call Vivian Treml
at (920) 833-2663.

Seymour Lions/ Recknagel Park off of Mainline Drive has a shelter, volleyball
court, basketball court, picnic facilities and playground equipment. This park shelter is a
first come first serve shelter.

Nagel
Park on Depot Street is home to the Historical Museum,
Gazebo, and Railroad & Hamburger Museum. Concerts are held each
Wednesday night in the gazebo throughout the summer.

Behrendt
Park on Foote Street has a volleyball court, horse shoe
pits and play equipment.

The Aquatic
and Fitness Center is located in the field house of
Seymour High School. The aquatic center includes an 8 lane lap pool with
an attached dive well and a small zero depth pool heated to 90 degrees
with a wheelchair lift. The fitness center includes state of the art
fitness and weight lifting equipment. Directions

Recreation |
|
· Crystal Springs Golf Course is a picturesque 18
hole public golf course located 2 miles northwest of Seymour on French
Road. Crystal Springs Golf Course provides a full Pro Shop, driving range,
bar and grill area, banquet facilities and much more! Call (920) 833-6348

· Winter Skating rinks are maintained at Rockledge (Directions),
Recknagel (Directions) and Behrendt (Directions)Parks.
· Baseball and softball are set up by the city for a
seven week season for children ages 4 - 15. The city clerk's office sends
brochures home with the students from kindergarten through 5th grade.
Middle and High school students should listen for the announcements at
school.
· Soccer is offered by

· The City of Seymour has a Skateboard park located behind
the Municipal Building and Police Station. |

Waterways and Lakes within 25 miles of Seymour |

· Wolf River is 223 miles of excellent water quality
and first rate fisheries. Upper portions known for its rapids and
waterfalls. Lower portions known for the walleye, sturgeon, and white bass
spawning runs. |

· The "lower" Fox River is 39 miles of
waterway with a system of 17 locks and dams between Lake Winnebago and the
mouth of Green Bay. |

· Shawano Lake is 6063 acres, recreational lake for
fishing and boating pleasure. |

· Lake Winnebago is Wisconsin's largest lake,
137,708 acres. Known as one of the nations top walleye fisheries. |

· Lake Michigan and the bay of Green Bay offer
excellent boating, sailing and fishing opportunities. |

Snowmobile Trails |
|
Miles of snowmobile trails pass thru private and public
lands in the surrounding Seymour area. Trails are primarily groomed and
maintained by local snowmobile clubs. |
